Rules

1. Confidentiality and Anonymity

  • All meetings are anonymous. Do not share personal information (full name, address, phone number, etc.).
  • What is said in the meeting stays in the meeting. No recording of meetings is allowed.

2. Respect and Kindness

  • Respect everyone’s turn to speak. Wait for someone to finish speaking before taking your turn.
  • Address the group using “I” (or first person) statements to share your experiences and personal thoughts.
  • Avoid passing judgment on comments of other participants.

3. Participation

  • You are not required to turn on your microphone or camera to participate. Listening is a valid form of participation.
  • If you wish to speak, use the raise hand or chat features.

4. Creating Meetings

  • To create a meeting, fill out the creation form (link to “Organize a Meeting”).
  • Each meeting must have a specific topic that will be the focus of the discussion.
  • There is no limit to the number of meetings you can create or participate in.

5. Duration and Procedure

  • Each meeting lasts one hour.
  • Follow the Meeting guide for meeting procedures, including the kick-off, participant introductions, discussions, and closing the meeting.

6. Roles and Responsibilities

  • The person leading the meeting must remind participants of the rules at the beginning of each meeting.
  • Each person can be assigned a specific role, such as timekeeper, technical support, rule enforcer, or discussion facilitator, to ensure the smooth running of the meeting.

7. Inappropriate Behavior

  • In case of disrespectful behavior or non-compliance with the rules, the organizer may ask the person concerned to leave the meeting.
  • A complaint process is in place to report inappropriate behavior or to ban an individual from attending future meetings.
